Big Day!

Wow, what a day we've had today. Kaycee went to Jena's house while I studied for a few hours. Which was much needed because I have a big test tomorrow. When we got home we went and played outside with Tarah, Kember and Cadin. It was tons of fun. The kids had so much fun sledding and playing on the slide in the snow. The adults had a blast too! When Kaycee and Kember started complaining about cold hands we all went inside and Tarah and I chatted while the kids played. She was telling me how she had apartment inspections coming up soon. I was like "I'm so glad I won't have inspections for awhile." Well, when I got home I found a letter in the mail saying that we had inspections.....TOMORROW!!! Fun!

You know it wouldn't be that bad if I hadn't decided to rearrange the office yesterday so I could use my new embroidery/sewing machine. I also thought while we were at it we could deep clean everything else so we could take stuff to storage. After we rearranged the office I thought I better focus on studying for my test and clean the huge mess gradually. We had to take out all of the files out of the file cabinet to move it, and take all the books off of the shelf to move it. Let me tell you, I have had a great evening. Thank goodness I took Kaycee out to play this afternoon. It was a good break for her as well as myself. Now I get to cram for my test tomorrow while I watch Kaycee and Jena. Wow, when it rains it poors, but I do so much better and am more focused with stress in my life. What would I do without it.

Big Girl

Okay, I know I've already posted for today but I had to put this on. I was saying earlier how Kaycee was such a big girl and doing so well with the potty, well today was hillarious. I had just picked her up from her friends house, Jena. Lacey and I trade off days for school. Well, we decided to go shopping in Moscow. As we pull onto the highway, which is packed with snow and traffic, Kaycee starts saying she needed to go potty. I then had to find a place to pull over. I finally found an area and pulled over. I told her she could go potty now. She flipped out, she wanted her potty at home. I preceded to tell her that it was okay and it is funny to pee in the snow. SO, she went...and then went again. She thought it was so funny that she pee-peed in the snow she wanted to tell Nama, and Papa and daddy and EVERYONE. She is still talking about it. I was so proud. She held it until we could find a safe spot. What a tooper!

Sibling Rivalry Already

I haven't posted for a year or so, so I'm still trying to figure this thing out. Sorry it is a mess.

We found out on the 16th that we are having a little boy. Kaycee is very excited. She wanted a brother from the beginning. We're excited to have our little girl and boy!

The two have been at it already. Kaycee will be sitting on my lap and will rock forwards and backwards, which hits my stomach, and he will either hit or kick. It is the funniest feeling. We were sitting in sacrament and Kaycee kept rocking and he would kick and I got to the point that I had to get up and go our in the hall. It was funny but it got on my nerves pretty quick. Wow, what to look forward to I guess.

We've bought a few things already, well I have, and Kaycee loves to get them out and play with "her babies" toys/clothes. She is a silly kid.

On to Kaycee; she has been doing great with potty training. I just put a stop to any diapers, even going out on the town and she has only had 3 accidents in the past few weeks. She is such a big girl. I knew she could do it I was just being lazy I think, more than she was. To keep things new she now gets stickers for going potty, each sticker is either worth a penny or five cents depending on which one she does. We started with 10 cents and 25 cents but it got pretty expensive. She doesn't care how much it is, she just loves the stickers and the MONEY!!!

The year 2008!

The year has slipped by without adding to our Blog. Kaycee is already 2 1/2. She is back into the routine of using the potty, now that we are home for a little while. She wanted to use the potty at 18 months but with all of the traveling she lost interest. She knows how, she just preffered diapers and would ask for them. Now with the break over and a baby on the way mom said no to diapers and being lazy, and Kaycee picked out new panties. She has done great!!!

She is very excited to have a sibling on the way. She says it is going to be a boy; we find out tomorrow, hopefully! Kaycee was very shy with the ultrasound, we hope this one is not as shy. We are excited to find out. I like to plan ahead. Surprises are good but planning helps me stay calm.

Kaycee was able to hear the baby's heart beat on Friday and was very excited. Now she realizes that there really is a baby in mommy's belly. She has to tell everyone she meets.

School is back in session and Isaac and I are very busy. With our busy schedules we find plenty of time to play with Kaycee. She is so much fun! She is doing very well with her ABC's (which she calls her EFG's) and counting. I have to help her start with 1 or she can't do it for some reason. She starts with 2, 5 then goes 7, 8, 9, 10. Once I start her with 1 she gets it straight.

I will keep everyone updated on the news tomorrow!!!
