We went to Spring Lake with Sam and McCall yesterday. It was nice to get outside and have some fun. It was a nice day, not too hot. Kaycee had a blast. Isaac took her fishing, they didn't catch anything but she had her fun of throwing out the line and bringing it back in. Sam and McCall made dutch oven chicken and potato's (which was really good). While it was cooking Kaycee asked Sam, "Tam why are you cooking rocks?" It was so funny. Things we don't think of as adults.
Oh, did I mention she fell in the fire. She was moving her camp chair talking to someone (I can't even remember who it was) but she was walking backwards. I went to tell her to watch where she was going when she hit the rim of the pit and fell in. Luckily McCall was walking by at the same time and grabbed her and thankfully it was dutch oven and it wasn't an actual fire just REALLY HOT coals. Kaycee has a few blisters on her thigh and tush and a burn mark on her forearm from trying to pull herself out. McCall thought quick and pulled off her pants to stop the burn, thank goodness or it could have been a lot worse. My clumsy daughter; like mother like daughter though.

Big girl
I just have to write about my BIG helper. She is always willing to help; well except when she is asked to clean up her room. Then she has an excuse of, "I need to take a nap" or "my legs hurt" or "Can you do it, I'm kind of tired." Other than that she is helping. She was such a big girl helping daddy take care of Kayden last night while I was at a baby shower that she got to go out for ice cream with daddy. She loves it when she is good because she LOVES the rewards and the good attention. We LOVE it when she is good too!!!
I don't think I wrote about her hair cut but I have to say every time I think I want to cut her hair she ends up cutting it and I have to fix it. While we were in Utah her hair underneath was growing out so I asked my mom to fix it. We just cut underneath but it looked kind of funny so I closed my eyes and said "just chop it off" it is the cutest haircut. I wont tell her this but I was glad she cut her hair so grandma could fix it. I just didn't dare. Besides Nana is a much better hairstylist!
I need to find some pictures and post them with it. Her hair is a little bob and is so much faster to fix and is adorable. Thanks mom (aka: Nana).

Utah and Back
We were able to go to Utah for baby Brayden's blessing! He has gotten so big! Kaycee calls him her little buddy Brayden.

Visit From Grandma and Aunt Sara
Grandma and Aunt Sara flew in from Utah to hang out for a couple of days and drive to Utah with us. Isaac left on the 18th with Grandma Bott for Utah to interviews and we are meeting up in Utah. The kids had a fun week planned at BBCCC so we stuck around and extended my internship so they could participate in the fun.
Grandma Callor and Aunt Sara came into the center on Thursday and went and visited Kaycee's class. Her classroom was full of excitement with activities so they were helping me put Book Fair stuff away. WIthin a few mintues one of her teachers came looking for Grandma. Kaycee was in tears because Grandma left her. So for the last 15 mintues grandma hung out iwth Kaycee in the classroom. Sara was on crutches so she sat in the office and I finished up the day.
