Kayden was in his bassinet napping and Kaycee came running in and just played on the bed waiting for him to wake up to play. As soon as he woke up she was at his side playing with him. While he was laughing in his bassinet she played peek-a-boo. As she went up and down she slipped off the bed between the bed and bassinet. I jumped to grab her and as I realized I was going to be late a sigh of relief fell over me because she was headed straight down away from everything, and then I saw it....the safe. I took it out to find some papers and left it by my bed. She turned the opposite way right into it as I reached to catch her. I hugged her for awhile and she stopped crying and said, "mom, you can stop hugging me now. I stopped crying." Then she went and played with Kayden again.

Priceless

It was a nice day at church. Isaac went home after church because he had school stuff and exhausted so after sacrament it was just the kids and I. He had the 4pm to midnight shift last night and got home around 1:30AM. Kayden was up all night and so we barely got any sleep and then Isaac had to be up early this morning too. Kaycee wasn't too bad. She listened better than usual and went to class with a little hesitation and was brave. Kayden was a good little guy and the lessons were great. After church Kayden and I went and picked Kaycee up from her class. She came out with a bubbly walk and then suddenly turned to me and cried, "Mommy I don't want to be a Child of God, I'm Kaycee Bug." We had a sweet little talk about how she is Kaycee Bug but she is also a child of God. What a sweet little princess.

First Snow!
My little snow bug!
Kaycee was so excited....she came running into the bedroom, "mommy, mommy, guess what. Come see. It snowed. Come see." I climb out of bed. Yes, she woke me up, as usual. So I got up and looked out her window. After holding up her blinds so I could see out the window she started putting on her snow boots, coat, hat and gloves. All of this while still in her pajamas. She went running to the door and started opening it. "Mom, I just going to go check on the snow and then we can go play okay."
We didn't go out to play until daddy got home. It was too cold and I didn't want two sick kids. As soon as Isaac got home she had him changing into snow boots and coat and gloves. Kaycee has been waiting for it to snow all year.

Sweet Sixteen Sara
Today is Sara's 16th birthday. Happy B-day sis!
Nana was making Sara Turtle Temptations brownies for Sara's birthday. Kaycee came running in and asked "Nana what are you making?" Grandma answered "turtles for Sara." Kaycee said "Oh, nana, don't forget to make moose"
Happy 16th Sara. Just so you know we drove all the way to Utah just to be there for your birthday. Thanksgiving was an added bonus!! We love you!
I had to throw a few of these pictures in because of Kaycee. She thinks because all of the attention was on Sara that she could get away with a few things. Little sneak.
