Day at The Park

Kaycee went to the Stampin Up party with me and helped make cards. Isaac had to go help set up at the vet school and I thought it would be fun for her to help mommy. She was more interested in the little kids that were there. She was a bit wild (playful) but did stop to help every once in awhile. She enjoyed helping me color and make Alexis a birthday card. Her favorite part was helping me rub the rub on stickers to the glass candle holder. Then we met Isaac and went to the Vet School Open House. He volunteered at a booth for a couple hours so we went earlier and walked around with him for a few minutes. On our way out Kaycee and I went and watched the Draft Horse Club's presentation for a little while. She liked watching the horse but kept playing on the fence so we left. She was so upset, she wanted to watch the horse, but then when we turned to watch it again she was interested in something else. I think she just wanted to play outside. I told her that we were going to the park and she was fine with leaving. It was such a nice day. We only stayed for about 20 minutes or so because she had to go potty, and she said she was sleepy, so we headed home. However, she did not take a nap, "it is morning" she kept saying.

I couldn't believe how nice it was. Kaycee even kept commenting on how nice the day was and wanted her window down. Usually she asked me to close mine because she was too cold.

Thank goodness for the cell phone. I didn't have my camera again.

Go Fly a...Plane

This morning was pretty yucky so we didn't go outside like I had planned. I saw that Isaac left his cell phone charging so we took it to him and ran to the dollar store. We found kites and an airplane. The strings aren't long enough on their kites so we just bought the styrofoam airplane to fly outside when the weather warms up. Well, around 2pm the weather warmed up and the wind calmed down a little so Kaycee and I went out and played and flew our plane. It wasn't the warmest weather but it was nice to spend out doors. We both had a lot of fun for almost an hour. Kaycee's little hands were getting cold and about the same time we were wrapping it up to go inside Isaac came home from studying and we all went for ice cream at Ferdinand's. It was a fun afternoon. I look forward to more of these warmer and dryer days.

I didn't have my camera on me so I snapped some shots with my cell phone. I think they turned out pretty good.

Bubble, Bubbles, Everywhere!

Well, yesterday I complained about the snow and rain all morning, but later that evening it was pretty nice. Not warm but not too cold so Kaycee and I went outside. We blew bubbles and went for a short walk. She had a lot of fun and it was nice to get out of the house, even if it was for about 30 minutes or so.

Bubbles, bubbles, everywhere.
Bubbles, bubbles run if you dare.
I'll run and jump to poke and pop.
You can't out run my gallop and trot.

I had to post these pictures. Her and her expressions are hilarious.
These are just a few of her dramatic faces and poses.

Snow AGAIN?

So, I looked out the window this morning preparing to take Kaycee outside. The sky was dark and it began to pour down with rain, so I thought. I just looked out the window again and it is SNOW! Wow! Will it ever stop? What happened to rain? Isn't April supposet to be April SHOWERS not April SNOW? The next thing we know it will be a blistering summer without a beautiful spring.
